Patent Litigation in US and Germany

There are still significant differences within the three major business centers of China, USA and Europe on patent infringement proceedings. In international competition it is of crucial importance to recognize and make use of the special features of these patent systems and avoid the pitfalls. The aim of this English-language seminar is to provide participants with the basic principles of patent infringement proceedings in the USA and Germany (the most important European patent system). This will be done by studying a detailed analysis of the most important legal provisions, the current case law and case studies. In particular, the seminar will cover the most important differences in this respect between patent infringement proceedings in China on the one hand and in Germany and the USA on the other hand.
