Nicolas Zhu, Partner and Head of Lifesciences Sector Group China, and Lingyun Rao, Senior Associate at CMS, China, have been invited by Business France and made a speech about the compliance issues in healthcare system in China (especially taken into account the recent two invoicing regimes in the pharmaceutical industry). The presentation was delivered at the 3rd plenary meeting organised by the French Healthcare Alliance (Club Santé Chine) on 12 September 2016 in the Institute Pasteur of Shanghai.

During the presentation, Nicolas and Lingyun discussed about the importance of compliance in the healthcare industry, analyse its legal basis and consequences and provided practical suggestions from both corporate and tax perspectives.

Business France is the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy. It contributes to the development and success of French and foreign businesses wishing to expand abroad.

Established in 2013 during the official visit of French President François Hollande to China, the French Healthcare Alliance (Club Santé Chine) brings together (with the support of the French Embassy) 125 French healthcare companies active in China. It aims to offer competitive and innovative products and services to meet with local Chinese requirements and develop value added medical, scientific, financial and commercial partnerships with local stakeholders.
