Colin is a Partner in the Real Estate team in London. Colin advises clients on commercial real estate in relation to the investment, management, development and financing of diverse real estate assets. He acts for fund managers (both institutional and private equity), residential developers, student housing providers as well as major corporate occupiers.

Colin’s investment experience includes sales and purchases of high-value commercial properties, covering all major asset classes including retail, office, student and industrial. His development experience includes advising on high-value forward-funding deals in the student, retail and residential (private-rented) sectors. Colin deals with acquisition finance and refinancing, acting for borrowers and lenders, predominantly in the office and retail space and also advises listed and private companies on property aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions. Colin also acts for corporate occupiers in relation to the acquisition and ongoing management of their office premises.

In his time outside the office, Colin variously enjoys climbing mountains (he has climbed two of the world’s “Seven Summits” and visited Everest Base Camp), playing poker (he has played in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas), buying (affordable) art and spending time with his wife and young children. These activities are necessarily undertaken separately!

His commercial and pragmatic approach has been a great help in getting some extremely challenging projects over the line. He always retains his sense of humour and is great to work with.
