Lucy joined CMS in 2010 and is a senior associate in our Financial Services Regulatory team. Lucy works closely with a number of asset managers, fiduciary managers and investment consultants. Lucy’s main focus is on advising authorised fund managers on the establishment and authorisation of new funds, amendments to existing funds, including mergers, and the suspension and closure of funds. In addition, Lucy is currently advising a number of clients on the implementation of SDR. Lucy also advises asset managers on the establishment of unauthorised funds from a regulatory perspective, including advising on associated management/advisory and custody agreements.

In addition to the above, Lucy has experience of reviewing and negotiating fund documentation from the perspective of the investor/pension scheme and has also worked on a broad range of regulatory and investment matters, including regulatory perimeter issues and the authorisation process.
