Sara Mernik has been a valuable member of the Real Estate & Construction team in Ljubljana office since April 2022. She advises national and international clients on real estate transactions, property law and construction law. Her advice spans from day-to-day real estate matters such as business leases, construction agreements, sale of real estate etc. to complex real estate transactions and project development mandates. Her work also includes court representation and administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining the CMS team, Sara worked in a reputable Slovenian based commercial law-oriented law firm where she supported the transactions team on real estate and corporate matters and advised clients on corporate statutory changes. 

During her studies she competed at the European Law Moot Court Competition and attended a Summer Law School in Malta on the topic of Maritime Law. She also gained experience as a student working at the Slovenian Ministry of Justice, the Judicial Training Centre.
