The European Commission issues guidelines on the closure of operational programmes relating to European Funds

The European Commission published on 14 October 2021 its guidelines on the closing process of operational programmes adopted for assistance from various European Funds for the 2014-2020 programming period. Based on its previous best practices, the Commission clarifies the applicable procedures to ensure the effectiveness and coordination of the operational programmes’ closure.
