Andrei Tercu is the Co-Head of Tax in our Bucharest office with 19 years of professional experience advising a wide range of multinational and local businesses on both domestic and international tax, accounting, and financial reporting matters.
Andrei has extensive experience in international tax, advising on a broad range of projects including international structuring of business portfolios; acquisitions and group restructurings; tax due diligence work; local tax compliance, including deferred tax assessments; and tax advisory, including assistance during tax audits/litigations and reviews.
He is particularly focused on advising clients in the Energy, Real Estate, Utilities and Manufacturing industry sectors. In recent years, Andrei has been involved in a number of working groups and in discussions with the Romanian Ministry of Finance on updates to tax legislation in Romania. Andrei is a licensed tax advisor, a member of the Romanian Chamber of Certified Tax Consultants, and a fiscal court expert approved by the Romanian Ministry of Justice. In addition, he is in the final phases of becoming ACCA and ADIT qualified. Andrei has been ranked as Rising Star by ITR World Tax for the last two years.
