Igli Beqiri is an associate lawyer at CMS Albania, with a practice focused on corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, energy, project financing, and litigations. He has extensive experience in advising on domestic and cross-border transactions, guiding clients through all stages of complex corporate transactions, and providing ongoing legal support for their day-to-day operations.
He holds a Master's degree in European Legal Studies from the University of Turin (Italy), complemented by an Executive Master's degree in ISO Systems for Quality, Safety, Energy and the Environment. In addition, he has obtained several certifications in foreign trade, issued by the Province of Turin following specialised training programmes funded by the European Union.
Igli has been a member of the Albanian Bar Association since 2019. He advises clients across regulated sectors, including energy, infrastructure, real estate, and IP, on licensing, compliance, project development, transactions, and regulatory approvals. Igli also has a growing practice in various regulatory procedures, assisting clients with applications before Albanian authorities. He represents domestic and international clients in commercial, administrative, and labour disputes.
He has been part of the team advising on several high-profile transactions, including privatisations, acquisitions, disposals, and business transfers for top-tier national and international entities and companies.
