Andreea is an English- and Romanian-law qualified senior associate in the CEE Finance team at CMS Romania. She specialises in banking and finance law and primarily assists banks and other financial institutions in Romania and beyond in cross-border financings. Andreea advises clients on project finance, real estate finance, and other financing structures, including on drafting and negotiating English and Romanian law documentation, as well as managing transactions in various jurisdictions. She has also been involved and assisted clients on due diligence exercises and various regulatory issues. Andreea has completed a one-year secondment in the JU/OPS/SEE Division of EIB, as well as a secondment in the Banking & Finance team at CMS Madrid.

Erste and BCR on financing for a 48 MW wind farm project developed by Eurowind Energy in Pecineaga, Romania.
EBRD and Raiffeisen Bank on a EUR 37.55m debt financing package for eMAG Group, the largest e-commerce platform in Romania.
IFIs and DFIs on lending transactions to Romanian banks and non-banking financial institutions under foreign law-governed facility agreements and involving Romanian law components.
DEG, FMO and Proparco on financings to financial institutions in Africa.
An investment bank on the Romanian law aspects of financing granted to a Romanian electricity distribution company for its nationwide investment to modernise energy distribution infrastructure.
