Diana Valeria Ceaușu is a litigation associate at CMS Romania, practicing in numerous areas including civil law, commercial law, insolvency, tax law, administrative law, banking law and insurance law. Diana also has experience in private international law and private international litigation, having worked with the Court of Justice of the European Union to raise issues related to the European Union law. Diana has represented multinational and domestic clients in cases involving complex legal issues, both before national and international courts as well as in domestic and international arbitrations. 

She graduated as a valedictorian from the Faculty of Law at Bucharest University, being ranked first out of 544 graduates. Her specialised studies are the Master's programme in Private Law at Bucharest University, as well as the Franco-Romanian Legal College of European Studies at the University of Paris 1 Pantheon - Sorbonne.
