Since the Second Session of the 13th National People's Congress voted to pass the Foreign Investment Law of the People's Republic of China (the "Foreign Investment Law") on March 15, 2019, the Foreign Investment Law has become a hot topic of discussion.
Nicolas Zhu, Partner of CMS, China has been invited to give an introduction on Foreign Investment Law at a Legal & Tax Workshop organized by German Chamber of Commerce in China on July 25, 2019. Nicolas introduced the main content and highlights of the Foreign Investment Law. He also shared his experience in the key issues which shall be taken into account by companies to around 40 guests from foreign invested companies. The attendees asked quite a few questions and Nicolas answered one by one. All attendees showed great interest on the topic.
