In cooperation with AIG Czech Republic, CMS Prague is pleased to invite you to a seminar on the liability of governing bodies and D&O insurance which will be held on Wednesday, 18 June in Prague.
Please note that the presentations will be in Czech.
An introduction to the topic:
The liability of governing bodies for damage caused by a company is a topical issue due to the recent legislative changes and cases where executive directors and board members have been found personally liable.
On 1 January 2014, the Act on Business Corporations introduced new rules that apply to the liability of governing bodies, as well as new concepts, which have resulted in an increased D&O liability.
We will review the recent developments in the field and we plan to discuss D&O liability insurance trends, which attempt to reduce these risks for governing body members.
