Competition and cartel investigations

Back to Antitrust, Competition and Trade

Companies should be alive to the possibility of investigations and fines for anti-competitive behaviour. We defend our clients in cartel and other regulatory investigations by authorities, especially by the Office for the Protection of Competition (Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže). We defend their interests in subsequent or stand-alone court proceedings. We stand ready to respond to investigations and dawn raids with a strong defence or through other appropriate means, including leniency applications. We also provide dawn raid trainings tailored to the specifics of each company.

We work with our own in-house CMS Evidence team of forensic experts using the market-leading software, Brainspace. This expertise, combined with our bench strength of experienced CMS competition lawyers across all CEE, most European countries, South America, Far and Middle East and Africa allows us to manage large-scale document reviews efficiently and effectively.

Last but not least we are familiar with the necessary steps to be undertaken concerning listings in public registers to protect our clients’ commercial interests against further negative consequences resulting from fine decisions (in particular concerning projects tendered by public authorities).
