Matěj Řepka is an associate in the Energy, Projects, and Construction team, bringing extensive legal expertise in energy regulatory and transactional matters, as well as EU, commercial, and civil law. With experience in both in-house roles and law firms, he offers a well-rounded perspective that enhances the delivery of transactions. Matěj specialises in negotiating and drafting transaction documentation, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and has worked on transactions involving both international and Czech investment funds. He has also led cross-border transaction negotiations.

Relevant experience

  • A Czech solar developer on the sale of a stake in a portfolio of Chilean solar power plants with an installed capacity of nearly 300 MWp to a Czech investment fund.
  • A Czech solar developer on a JV structure with a Czech investment fund for the acquisition, development, construction, and financing of a solar power plant project in Romania with an installed capacity of more than 40 MWp.
  • A major Czech energy group on the drafting of a bond prospectus.
