Filip Bjelinski is lawyer for competition and corporate law. Since joining CMS in 2022, a significant part of his practice has focused on a broad range of competition law matters, alongside his regular involvement in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. He has gained experience across various sectors, including food and consumer goods, services, pharmaceuticals, IT, and finance.
In competition law, Filip assists with merger filings and the assessment of competition aspects of transactions. He is also involved in advising clients on horizontal and vertical restraints, abuse of dominance, and other compliance matters, including foreign direct investment (FDI) screening and other EU law matters.
As part of his corporate and transactional practice, Filip works on due diligence processes, the preparation of transaction documents, corporate restructurings, and other business-related matters. Combining his competition law experience with an understanding of corporate transactions enables him to contribute to the assessment of their market and regulatory aspects.
