Mirta Klaić is an experienced lawyer specializing in Tax law. She advises clients on the tax implications of planned transactions and business models as well as on the tax liabilities of foreign companies operating in Croatia. Mirta also analyzes the implications of permanent establishments and offers expert tax advice on cross-border transactions involving both affiliated and unaffiliated companies. Her expertise includes employment contracts with cross-border elements, as well as tax and other liabilities of seconded employees, management board members, and CEOs.
In addition to legal and tax transactional advisory services, Mirta represents clients in communications with tax authorities, tax inspections, and other procedures. She is also experienced in dispute resolution before administrative courts. She works with EU law daily in the areas of taxation, coordination of social security systems, and seconded employees.
Mirta Klaić joined the team as a student trainee in 2016 and became an associate after graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb in the same year.
