Tamara Jelić-Kazić is a lawyer specialised in tax law. She is especially experienced in advising clients with regard to tax aspects of doing business in Croatia, transactional strategies within M&A procedures, and regulatory projections regarding potential investments.

She is an attorney-at-law as well as an accountant certified by the UK-based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She has more than 15 years of experience providing international and domestic tax law advice. Prior to joining CMS, Tamara Jelić-Kazić worked in one of the big four companies for half a decade.


Tamara Jelić-Kazić advises clients from various industries on tax-related implications of international transactions, the application of double taxation treaties, the restructuring of companies, indirect taxation as well as state aid and incentives. In addition to legal and tax-related transactional advisory, Tamara Jelić-Kazić represents clients in tax proceedings and dispute resolution and deals with EU tax law on a daily basis.Practice has shown that considering the tax aspects of transactions are a necessity, which makes Tamara Jelić-Kazić’s expertise a valuable contribution to understanding clients’ needs and improving their business.
