Abdullah is a Trainee Lawyer at CMS Oman. Since joining, he has been part of the corporate team in Muscat, and he works closely with his colleagues in the dispute resolution team, as well as the projects team. Abdullah has been involved in a range of corporate matters such as reviewing and drafting agreements such as share transfer agreements, partners resolutions and constitutive contracts. Abdullah received his Bachelor of Commercial Law with Honours in 2020 from the Modern College of Business and Science, Muscat.

Relevant experience

  • Reviewing and assisting on advising on different types of contracts based on Oman Laws including Shareholder Agreement, Service Agreement, Constitutive Contract of the company.
  • Assisting on advising local shareholders in different Omani Companies in relation to shareholders disputes based on Commercial Companies Law.
  • Assisting on a due diligence for an Omani Company by reviewing several contracts including lease agreement, shareholders agreement and the company’s resolutions.
  • Assisting on advising an Omani company on removing a shareholder by drafting Share Transfer Agreement, Partners Resolutions, Constitutive Contract Amendment and Board Resolution. 
  • Assisting on advising an Omani LLC: on a new long term Mining Contract in relation to Mining Concession area.
  • Assisting a number of Omani SAOC companies: on appointing new Board of Directors.

Education

  • 2017 – Bachelor of Science in Commercial Law, Modern College of Business and Science, Muscat.
