CMS Shanghai Office Hosted its 10th Anniversary Celebration
October 22, 2012 – CMS, China Shanghai Office hosted a celebration event for its 10th anniversary on October 17, 2012 in Shanghai, China. Clients, representatives from authorities, business partners, CMS board members and colleagues, in total more than 180 guests, attended the event.
"As one of the few international legal service providers in China which offer clients specialised services, CMS Shanghai Office has proudly served clients with our professional expertise, in-depth local knowledge, full commitment and diligence in the past decade,” said Dr. Ulrike Glueck, Managing Partner of CMS, China when welcoming the participants to the event. “Our team started in 2002 with only a handful of lawyers. In the past decade we managed to increase our total number of colleagues 10 times. This is due not only to the thriving economic growth in China, but also to the excellent support of the Chinese authorities. Dr. Wolfgang Röhr, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany Shanghai participated in the event and gave a well received speech. Dr. Röhr praised the long standing relationships between Germany and China and the importance of law firms in supporting businesses.
Dr. Hubertus Kolster, Managing Partner of CMS Hasche Sigle and Dr. Ludwig Linder, Partner of CMS Hasche Sigle also spoke at the event. They have initiated, experienced and encouraged the growth of CMS in Shanghai and expressed their appreciation for the success in the last decade.
