Chloe is an associate in our Banking and Finance practice in the Middle East. Chloe has a broad range of experience working both lender and borrower side on corporate finance, project finance, real estate finance, trade finance, and fund finance transactions.

Chloe joined CMS in 2025 from a US firm in London, where she spent 8 months on secondment to the Dubai office in 2023.

Relevant experience

  • Lender side for an international bank in its role as arranger and original funded participant on a landmark USD 1.2bn limited recourse prepayment financing to facilitate the acquisition by the borrower of certain oil fields in South America. Assisting with the subsequent syndication of the facility to thirteen financial institutions and a highly complex amendment and extension of the financing. 
  • Borrower side for a large independent provider of renewable energy construction, development and storage services and producer of renewable electricity in Germany along with two sponsors on an asset-backed portfolio facility, provided by three distinct private credit lenders. 
  • Lender side for two local UAE banks and a UAE based export office in relation to cross-border 70m syndicated trade financing in the energy sector (with an accordion feature to increase the facility up to 100m). Assisting with the subsequent amendment and extension of the financing.
  • Borrower side on an AED 1.3bn facility provided by a local UAE bank to the borrower group including thirteen onshore Dubai and ADGM-based entities.
  • UAE counsel to the placement agent in connection with the financing of a USD 1bn private placement diamond inventory and receivables asset-backed securitisation.
  • Lender side for a private credit fund on a bespoke USD 75m multi-tranche murabaha facility being made available to the holding company of a Saudi-based manufacturer of fabrics.

  • Admitted as a Solicitor by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority.
  • Member of the Law Society of England and Wales.

Education

  • 2020 - Legal Practice Course with Master of Science in Law, Business and Management, University of Law.
  • 2017 - Bachelor of Laws with Honours in Law with Australian Law (LLB), University of Nottingham, Nottingham.
