Keith is a Partner in our Energy and Infrastructure team. He has been working in the Middle East since 2005. He advises on the development of major infrastructure, power and utilities projects throughout the region. His clients include government authorities, developers and lenders. He has in-depth understanding of the utilities sector, particularly within Saudi Arabia where he has advised extensively on conventional and renewable energy IPP projects and export credit financings.
In recent years Keith has led on a large number of the region’s power and water project procurements. Many such exercises have been first-of-type, including the first solar and wind IPP projects in Saudi Arabia and the first solar IPP project in Oman.
Keith has had the pleasure of working on projects that have received recognition and awards from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, IJ Global, Euromoney and PFI.
Keith has been recognised by Legal500 for project finance and by IFLR1000 as being highly regarded in the energy sector. He is ranked in Chambers and Partners for Middle East Projects and Energy where he is singled out for his pragmatism and deft handling of contract documentation. Clients note that he is “extremely knowledgeable, approachable with clear advice and guidance”.
