China Business Law Journal has compiled a collection of deals which have been chosen outstanding in 2010 (12/09 – 12/10). The decision has been based on transactional data, submissions received from PRC and international law firms as well as on interviews with China focused professionals, legal and corporate.
The CBLJ team considered value, uniqueness, complexity of each deal and thus decided that Joyou’s IPO was a “Capital markets deal of the year – offshore IPOs & listings” 2010. CMS Hasche Sigle and CMS, China advised the issuer. Joyou is one of the leading brand-name manufacturers of taps for bathroom and kitchen in China, with a market presence dating back more than 20 years. The company was admitted to its first listing on the Prime Standard of Frankfurt Stock Exchange on 30 March 2010.
