CMS has been ranked by Asian Legal Business (ALB) in the Top Largest Law Firms for China and Asia 2025. In the latest rankings, CMS retained its position as the 6th largest international law firm in China. In addition, CMS INDUSLAW, the CMS member firm in India, was ranked 8th among Indian firms. Notably, CMS has made a remarkable rise to the 3rd place among the largest international law firms in Asia.
The rankings identify the top largest international law firms for China and Asia by headcount. CMS has been ranked in the lists for the 11th consecutive year.
CMS has been active in the region for several decades. With over 60 legal professionals based in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and more than 455 legal professionals in Asia, CMS is well placed to provide full scope of services to both foreign companies doing business in Asia and Asian companies doing business abroad.
