Michael Munzinger joined CMS in 2014 and focuses on the corporate and commercial practice areas. He mainly advises clients on cross-border transactions, corporate law, especially foreign direct investment, as well as on commercial law, product liability and related dispute resolution matters.

Michael spent major stages of his legal traineeship in the China practice of a well respected international law firm in Munich and in the holding company of a globally operating German car manufacturer in Beijing. Before joining the Shanghai Office, he studied one year Mandarin Chinese in Beijing and spent a 6 months practical phase in the Shanghai office of a renowned international law firm as a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
