Shimin is an associate in CMS’s Beijing office. Before joining CMS, Shimin worked in two top-tier Chinese law firms, where she advised a diverse client base including multinational companies, listed companies, investment funds, state-owned enterprises, and Chinese government ministries. Shimin has experience in complex commercial transactions, foreign direct investment, outbound investments, joint ventures, and general corporate matters. She also regularly advises clients on export controls, sanctions, and other regulatory compliance matters.
Shimin obtained her LLB and LLM from China University of Political Science and Law. She further earned her Juris Doctor from University of Minnesota. Shimin is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, USA.
