CMS, China talks about HR management and preferential policies under COVID-19

On 2 April 2020, the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SwissCham) held a webinar on HR management and preferential policies with CMS, China and Firmenich. Mrs. Jeanette Yu, Partner and Head of Employment & Pensions Practice Area Group of CMS, China and Mr. Gilbert Shen, Counsel and Head of Tax Practice Area Group of CMS, China have been invited to give speeches and to share insights on the topics from a legal perspective.

Ms. Yaqi Liu, Partner at Wenfei Business Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was the moderator of the webinar,.

Mrs. Jeanette Yu analyzed the impact on employers, their obligations in the prevention and control of virus and what they can do in HR management during the epidemic period.

Mr. Gilbert Shen spoke from finance and tax perspectives and shared the latest preferential policies offered by the central and local governments and what companies should do in practice.

SwissCham also invited Susan Zhang, HR Director of Greater China at Firmenich Aromatics (China) Co., Ltd. to share her experience in handling COVID-19 crisis in human resources.
