HMT/FCA: Shanghai-London Stock Connect/EFD

HMT has announced the launch of Stock Connect by which UK-listed companies will be able to sell shares in China from 17 June 2019. This is a reciprocal arrangement between the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange. FCA and the China Securities Regulatory Commission have announced their approval of the scheme and published a high-level MoU. HMT has also published a summary note of the Economic and Financial Dialogue between the UK and China which took place on 17 June 2019.
