The form of data centres is an important feature of the CEE digital landscape. As big companies operating in Europe need to house increasing volumes of valuable data, CEE is an attractive option. In terms of cost, incentives and access to skilled IT labour, the CEE region provides significant opportunities to build safe, secure and cost-effective data centres. This is underpinned by a sophisticated digital infrastructure, supportive national governments and real estate that enhances hybrid digital infrastructures.
We would like to invite you to a 60-minute virtual discussion on the development of Data Centres in CEE. The event we will be hosted online by Dominic Carman (journalist and writer) on Wednesday 11 May 2022, starting at 11.00 CET. In this discussion, our CEE TMT, Real Estate and Energy experts, Eva Talmacsi, Lukáš Hejduk and Piotr Ciolkowski, together with Tomasz Łosek (Director of Turner & Townsend, Poland) will share their expert views on the legal implications associated with opportunities for large companies in Europe to effectively build and operate data centres in multiple locations across the region.
