CMS advised Packeta Group (Packeta) on the legal vendor due diligence in preparation for the sale of 100% of its ownership interest in the Packeta Group to CVC Capital Partners and Emma Capital.
Packeta is the parent company of Czech-based technology and logistics company Zasilkovna, a leading provider of postal and logistics services. Packeta delivers to more than 132,920 partner pick-up points in Europe and boasts over 15,544 company pick-up points in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania.
The CMS team was led by Corporate/M&A partner Helen Rodwell and associate Stepan Havranek, with the support of Juraj Fuska and Martin Balaz in Slovakia, Blazej Zagorski in Poland, Horea Popescu in Romania, and Oliver Thurn in Germany.
The transaction is subject to approval by the Czech antitrust authority and is expected to close mid-2024.
