CMS has advised Accolade group on the refinancing of Brno Airport Park, a prime industrial park located near the Brno international airport.
The financing, provided by a club of Czech banks led by Česká spořitelna, relates to a well-established asset comprising four buildings with a total gross leasable area of more than 107,800 sqm.
The transaction involved the refinancing of existing indebtedness and supports the continued operation and development of the park, which has been designed to meet modern business and sustainability standards. The buildings at the park have achieved a BREEAM “Excellent” certification.
CMS advised the borrower on all aspects of the transaction, including structuring, negotiation and documentation of the financing.
Brno Airport Park combines proximity to air transport with an advantageous location near one of the Czech Republic's key motorways. This offers excellent connectivity to both domestic and international markets, ensuring efficient cargo handling and cost-effective logistics. The park is also set to benefit from the ongoing modernisation of the Brno rail network. It forms part of Accolade's portfolio of modern industrial assets across Europe, further strengthening the group's position in the Czech market.
The CMS team was led by Vladimír Zemaník and supervised by Petra Myšáková, and further included Adam Fanta.
