Denisa Trpišovská is an associate in the Commercial, Regulatory & Disputes team at CMS Prague focusing on dispute resolution. She advises international and local clients on cases in both domestic and international litigation and arbitration, including proceedings before the Supreme Court and the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce. Her practice covers all stages of dispute resolution, from pre litigation advice to representation throughout proceedings and support during settlement negotiations in cases across the commercial, international trade, finance, real estate, energy and infrastructure sectors.

Apart from her dispute resolution practice, she also advises clients on commercial, regulatory and criminal law matters.

Denisa also has experience in international equity and debt capital markets transactions, advising clients on initial public offerings, standalone or programme bond issuances, and related regulatory aspects.

Relevant experience

  • A leading importer and distributor of defense products in Eastern Europe, as claimant in dispute related to international trade contract in ICC Arbitration proceedings in Vienna.
  • Siemens, as claimant in highly complex multimillion-euro commercial litigation against major electrical equipment supplier. 
  • Europe's leading manufacturer of gas control equipment, as claimant in commercial arbitration and litigation against the supplier.
  • Two major financial institutions in connection with the issue of domestic bonds of a leading European producer of firearms.
  • A leading Central and Eastern European logistics and industrial real estate owner and developer as issuer in connection with its initial public offering and listing of its shares on a major European stock exchange, the largest real estate IPO in Europe in recent years.
  • A leading electricity distribution and hydropower generation group in the Black Sea region on issue of senior bonds guaranteed by the United States International Development Finance Corporation, an agency of the United States government.
  • A multinational telecommunications and infrastructure groups as issuers in connection with the establishment and subsequent updates of euro medium-term note (EMTN) programmes.
