CMS has been named Middle East Law Firm of the Year – Oman at Law.com’s The Middle East Legal Awards 2026, recognising the firm’s work on significant transactions and projects across the Sultanate.

The Middle East Legal Awards celebrate achievements across the region’s legal sector, recognising the work of law firms and legal professionals operating in the Middle East.

Established in 2014, CMS is one of Oman’s largest international law firms, with leading capabilities across energy, infrastructure, corporate, dispute resolution and finance. Led by market-leading partners, the firm advises on landmark projects, high-value transactions and complex disputes that shape the Omani market. With a majority Omani team, CMS Oman combines deep local insight with international experience to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions.

CMS’s recognition at Law.com’s The Middle East Legal Awards 2026 follows a period of significant activity for its Oman practice. Recent work includes the Ibri III and Al Kamil solar IPPs, Oman’s first waste-to-energy IPP, standalone battery energy storage and pumped-hydro storage projects, as well as major transport and logistics infrastructure.

Charles Dolphin, Managing Partner of CMS in Oman, said: “We are delighted to receive this award, which is testament to the strength and dedication of our team in Oman. Our strategy has been clear: to combine deep local and sector knowledge with CMS’s international reach, enabling us to support clients on complex and strategically important matters. The strength of our client relationships and the significant projects we continue to advise on demonstrate the success of that approach, and we are proud to contribute to Oman’s continued development.”
