CMS Wistrand advises Elmera Group ASA on the acquisition of Telinet Energi AB
CMS Wistrand has acted as legal adviser to Elmera Group ASA, through its subsidiary Elmera Nordic AS, in connection with the acquisition of Telinet Energi AB from Telinet Energi Holding AS.
Elmera Group ASA is a Norwegian energy company active in electricity trading and energy services across the Nordic region. Telinet is a Swedish electricity retailer offering renewable electricity. The acquisition was announced via a stock exchange release on 12 March 2026 and strengthens Elmera Group’s presence in the Swedish electricity market.
CMS Wistrand advised throughout the entire transaction, covering M&A matters as well as energy-specific regulatory issues. Simonsen Vogt Wiig acted as legal adviser on matters of Norwegian law.
