Our local presence is backed by the resources within CMS globally, ensuring that entrepreneurs have access to expert legal support wherever they choose to expand.

As a member of the equIP programme in Sweden, you benefit from a dedicated local team excited about supporting start-ups. Our local team view the client relationship as an investment into an idea that they believe in. As part of the equIP programme, you benefit from:

• A 50 % discount on our standard rates, up to an aggregate discount of SEK 250,000 per year, for three years.
• A dedicated legal team ready to support you in becoming Series A ready. You will have your own account manager as your primary contact, who will coordinate internally and ensure you receive tailored advice from the right lawyers based on your specific business needs. 
• A full-service law firm providing top-tier legal advice in all areas of business law, both locally and at CMS locations worldwide. 
• A free initial consultation to understand your business and determine the next steps.
• Access to CMS teams in any of the other equIP jurisdictions - with the same beneficial terms applied there. 
• Introductions to relevant industry players, from entrepreneurs to investors. 
• Access to events and start-up ecosystems across our local and global network. 
• Access to meeting rooms or host a small to mid-sized event at our offices. 

Who qualifies?

We accept a maximum of two equIP members per year. While we asses each applying start-up comprehensively, we believe that start-ups with the best chance of receiving a spot in the equIP programme are those who:

• Have secured seed funding and are ready for a Series A investment within 6 - 9 months.
• Show a proven track record of generating revenue from a market-launched product or service.
• Demonstrate a high degree of innovation and are rich in IP.
• Focusing on the tech, media, and IT sectors.
• Exhibit strong commitment and maturity, ideally with a dedicated team of employees.

Startups that develop innovative solutions aimed at making a meaningful impact and creating a positive social and environmental change are highly encouraged to apply.
