CMS Wistrand has been ranked Band 1 in Private Wealth Law in Sweden in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2026. The ranking recognises the firm's work advising entrepreneurs, owners and families on complex matters relating to wealth, ownership structures and succession planning.

CMS Wistrand's position is also strengthened on an individual level. Rickard Jonason advances to Band 1, and Justus Pettersson is ranked in Band 2.

Many of the matters we work on are both strategic and deeply personal. They require legal expertise, but also an understanding of the goals, values and relationships that underpin each decision. It is through close collaboration with our clients that we are able to develop solutions that stand the test of time, says Justus Pettersson.

CMS Wistrand's Private Wealth team advises entrepreneurs, owners and families on wealth planning, ownership structures, family governance and succession planning. The work often involves both Swedish and international aspects and draws on expertise across several legal disciplines.

We are seeing growing demand for advice on succession planning, ownership matters and long-term wealth planning. Being ranked by Chambers is a valued recognition of our work and a testament to the trust our clients place in us when making some of their most important decisions, says Rickard Jonason, partner at CMS Wistrand.
