Viktoriia Stavchuk-Mulundkar is a senior associate at CMS Ukraine, specialising in tax and business law. With over 13 years’ experience, Viktoriia advises large Ukrainian and international companies on business structuring, tax planning, and legal compliance. She develops comprehensive legal strategies for clients, ensuring regulatory adherence and effective risk management.

In her role, Viktoriia acts as a core tax advisor and principal client contact on complex mandates, taking a leading role in the delivery, coordination and execution of tax projects across jurisdictions. She is closely involved in managing multi-stream engagements, working alongside partners and international teams, and ensuring consistent, high-quality advice across all aspects of tax-related work.

Her core expertise includes structuring domestic and cross-border investments, tax due diligence, and structuring contractual arrangements.  Viktoriia has extensive experience in leading tax workstreams on transactions and advisory projects, including analysing sophisticated tax issues, coordinating with foreign counsel, and translating technical tax considerations into commercially viable solutions for clients.

She is also highly experienced in advising multinational companies on the legal and tax intricacies of granting stock options and other employee benefits to local teams, ensuring these programmes are effectively implemented and compliant with local regulatory requirements.

Viktoriia has successfully advised clients across various industries, including IT, oil & gas, renewables, infrastructure, and commodities.   Having collaborated with leading international law firms, she has strong exposure to complex cross-border transactions and emerging international tax developments.  She combines in-depth legal expertise with strong commercial awareness to deliver pragmatic and practicable solutions tailored to clients’ business objectives.

Viktoriia holds a degree in law and a Master of Business Administration, enabling her to integrate legal analysis with business considerations.
