CMS once again one of the leading law firms in Switzerland
For the fourth time, the Swiss business magazine BILANZ and newspaper Le Temps have published their ranking of the best law firms in Switzerland. We are delighted to be ranked, once again, as one of them. CMS von Erlach Poncet is rated as one of the top 20 law firms in Switzerland in a total of 26 out of 31 areas of law, which is more than any other law firm in Switzerland and further highlights our position as a leading full service law firm.
We are particularly proud to have achieved top rankings (five stars) in the following practice areas:
- Real Estate
- Tenancy Law
- Public Procurement
- Antitrust and Competition
- General Contract Law
- Construction Law
- Dispute Resolution
- Private Equity and Venture Capital
- Technology and Telecommunications
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
- Inheritance Law
- Corporate Law
Other outstanding rankings (four stars) include International Law, general Criminal Law and White Collar Crime in particular, Banking and Capital Market, Employment Law, Restructuring and Insolvency, Intellectual Property and Sports Law.
For the second time, the ranking also includes six different industry sectors. CMS von Erlach Poncet is amongst the top 5 law firms in two of these six sectors.
More than 7,300 lawyers, around 420 in-house lawyers, the heads of the legal departments of the 500 largest companies in Switzerland and clients of law firms were invited to take part in the survey and made around 21,000 relevant recommendations. At least 95 law firms were recommended in each area of law.
The complete ranking can be found here.
