CMS once again one of the leading law firms in Switzerland

For the third time, the Swiss business magazine BILANZ has published its ranking of the best law firms in Switzerland: In 31 practise areas the 20 most frequently recommended law firms have been assessed and listed. We are delighted to have been ranked, once again, as one of the best law firms in Switzerland. 

CMS achieved top 3 rankings in the following practice areas:

• Compliance (1^st place)
• Life Sciences and Healthcare (1^st place)
• Insurance (1^st place)
• General Contract Law (2^nd place)
• M&A (2^nd place)
• Real Estate (2^nd place)
• Antitrust and Competition (2^nd place)
• Public Procurement (2^nd place)
• Private Equity and Venture Capital (2^nd place)
• Corporate (3^rd place)
• Tenancy Law (3^rd place)
• Dispute Resolution (3^rd place)

and has been ranked as one of the 20 best law firms in Switzerland in 26 of the 31 practise areas considered.

For the first time,  the ranking also included six different industry sectors. CMS von Erlach Poncet Ltd. is amongst the top 3 law firms in three of these six sectors.

The survey was carried out between 22 October and 7 December 2018. More than 2'500 clients and lawyers have partcipated, providing around 19'200 relevant recommendations. At least 88 law firms were recommended in each practise area.
