Alexander Salamon's practice focuses on corporate law, M&A transactions, capital markets law (with a particular focus on insurance supervision law) and insolvency law.
Alexander Salamon studied law at the University of Zurich. In 2024, he completed his doctorate on the topic of “Restructuring of Insurance Companies under the Insurance Supervision Act”. The dissertation was published in 2024 in the series “Schweizer Schriften zum Handels- und Wirtschaftsrecht”. Alexander Salamon publishes regularly on insurance supervision law.
From January 2023 until June 2024, Alexander Salamon was an attorney trainee at CMS, and in January and February 2025, he supported as a jurist. Alexander Salamon joined CMS as a lawyer in September 2025. Before joining CMS, Alexander Salamon worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Chair of Private and Business Law of Prof. Dr. iur. Hans-Ueli Vogt from September 2020 until August 2022.
