Alina Martalogu studied at the University of Verona where she obtained a Combined Bachelor's and Master's Degree. During her studies completed two one-year long exchange programs at the University of Paris Nanterre and the University of Turku (Finland). Subsequently she obtained a second Master's Degree at the University of Zurich in International and Comparative Law. During her studies she completed several internships at the Romanian Consulate in Milan, ICC Court of Arbitration in Paris and at a Swiss based insurance company. In 2023 she represented the University of Zurich at the Willem C. Vis Moot Court in Vienna and Hong Kong. Alongside her studies in Switzerland, Alina worked as a legal employee for a Zürich based law firm in the field of internal investigations.

After graduating, she worked as an intern at CMS Zurich in the dispute resolution department and as an attorney trainee in a Lugano-based law firm where she gained practical experience in the fields of dispute resolution, employment law and corporate law. In 2025 she re-joined CMS as an attorney trainee.
