Ambroise Baumgartner has been Associate Attorney in the Corporate/M&A Department since January 2026. Before joining CMS in Geneva, he worked at several business law firms in Zurich, Paris and Los Angeles, as well as at the District Court of Zurich. He was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 2023.
In 2022, Ambroise Baumgartner obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Fribourg for his thesis on international bankruptcy law. His thesis was awarded the 2023 Prize of the Swiss Enforcement & Bankruptcy Law Association (“SchKG-Preis/Prix LP”). He pursued his legal studies by earning a LL.M. in Business Law at UCLA School of Law in 2025.
