Emanuel Thaler specializes in Litigation, Arbitration as well as Insolvency and Restructuring proceedings.

Prior to joining CMS, he served as a senior law clerk and judge at the district court of Zurich where he continuously dealt with attachment orders, interim measures, and enforcement procedures in all areas of civil and commercial law. Proceedings concerning recognition and declaration of enforceability of foreign judgments and deeds supplemented his portfolio.

Since 2016, Emanuel Thaler has also been accompanying a Swiss start-up active in the field of biomedical image data analysis using artificial intelligence.
