Jingjin Guo is a Swiss-qualified attorney and Partner at CMS Switzerland, with extensive experience in Corporate law, M&A, Banking and Finance, and cross-border reorganizations. Before joining CMS, Jingjin spent more than 18 years in another international law firm, where he progressed to Senior Partner. 

Jingjin advises multinational corporations, financial institutions, private investors, and entrepreneurs on domestic and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, complex shareholders' arrangements, and complex financing structures. He also has experience in trade finance, secured lending (including syndication) and aviation finance transactions. Jingjin has developed particular expertise in cross-border matters involving Switzerland, Europe, the US and Greater China.

In addition, Jingjin has unparalleled experience advising clients in the technology and digital infrastructure sectors, especially data centres operators and hyperscalers regarding greenfield developments, financing, construction projects in Switzerland and abroad, including investor advisory services and expertise in due diligence. 

Jingjin currently serves also as Chairman of the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce Romandie Chapter.

  • In the Data Centres industry: Advised several operators and hyperscalers in connection with greenfield acquisition and development, construction works, lease and work letters, health and safety policy, construction litigation, colocation service and retail agreements, grid connection and water & sewage, permitting assessments, due diligence, mortgage and assets finance transactions. 
  • Advised Standard Chartered Bank in their trade finance, bilateral finance, standby letter of credit, guarantees, supply chain finance transactions and issuance of legal opinions. 
  • Advised Weatherford in connection with various notes offering, syndicated financing, assets securities and corporate reorganization matters. 
  • Advised Zen-Noh in their redomiciliation and group reorganization, various joint ventures and cross-border corporate matters. 
  • Advised Western Union in their acquisition of distressed assets in Switzerland.
  • Advised Salesforce in their share deal acquisition of Lintao with stock options offering.
  • Advised Moon Jet in the acquisition and sale of aircrafts and in their aircraft financing transactions.
