Marcus Eklund is a Swedish Attorney at Law (Advokat) and an associate in the dispute resolution team in Zurich. Specializing in international arbitration, Marcus has represented clients from a range of industries and countries in both arbitration and litigation, particularly in Sweden. He focuses on identifying key legal issues in international contracts and disputes, with an understanding of how language differences can lead to ambiguities or misunderstandings. His language skills and international experience are valuable in addressing these challenges.

Before joining CMS, Marcus worked at prestigious law firms in Stockholm, London, and Zurich, and clerked for one and a half years at the District Court of Uppsala. He has also served in the Swedish Armed Forces after completing his training at the Swedish Armed Forces' Interpreter School. He holds a Master of Laws from Stockholm University and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian from Uppsala University.

Marcus is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and is registered under Art. 28 BGFA in Switzerland, allowing him to represent parties in court using his original professional title.
