Maryam Hassan is mainly active in the field of criminal, civil and administrative litigation.

She obtained her Bachelor's degree in law from the University of Geneva in 2017. During her Bachelor's degree, she studied two semesters at the University of Zurich. After studying one semester at the Faculty of Law of the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas, she obtained her Master of Laws in 2019. Maryam Hassan also obtained the Certificate of Specialisation in Law at the University of Geneva in 2019.

Maryam Hassan was admitted to the Geneva Bar in October 2021, after completing her legal internship at CMS.

She joined CMS as an associate in April 2023.
