Sidonie Morvan is an experienced lawyer specialising in real estate and construction law, as well as in public law and ESG matters. For over 25 years, she has been a trusted advisor to institutional and private clients, national and international investors, developers, entrepreneurs, architects, and public authorities. Her transactional practice covers all major areas of real estate and construction. In addition to real estate transactions and legal due diligence, Sidonie has solid experience advising on real estate development projects, and contract law matters. She routinely drafts and negotiates commercial leases, sales contracts, architects' contracts and contracts for work and services. In addition to her transactional practice, Sidonie defends clients' interests in complex real estate and construction litigation before administrative and civil courts.
With a strong expertise on public law matters Sidonie is particularly assisting clients to navigate complex urban development and zoning regulations; she also handles building permits proceedings and negotiates with relevant authorities, and advises on environmental and issues, including industrial sites pollution and green leases.
For several years, Sidonie Morvan served as an assessor judge at the Geneva Lease and Rental Court.
She also is an active member of the Commission for Monuments, Nature and Sites of Geneva, responsible for reviewing building permit applications within it field of competence.
After founding her own law firm devoted exclusively to real estate law in 2013, she joined CMS as a partner in January 2021.
Sidonie is the Founding member and President of the association "Constructives" - a rapidly growing network of women professionals active in real estate and construction, counting today, since its inception in 2021, more than 500 members.
