Tania Luminuku is a Senior Associate with the Corporate / M&A team in Geneva.
Tania has a broad experience advising clients across various sectors on a diverse range of corporate/M&A, commercial and contractual matters, including assisting start-ups with incorporation, contracts (shareholders agreements, investment agreements, license agreements, service agreements), employment and corporate governance matters, as well as venture capital transactions.
Tania holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, a Master's degree in International and European Law and a Master's degree in Economic law from the University of Geneva. She was admitted to the bar in 2019, after completing her traineeship at the Chamber for Criminal Appeals and Review of the Geneva Supreme Court and at a local law firm. In 2020, she obtained the interuniversity diploma (DIU) in OHADA law (Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa) from the Panthéon-Assas University (Paris 2) and the Sorbonne Paris Nord University (Paris 13).
Before joining CMS, Tania gained valuable experience as a counsel in the legal department of compenswiss (the independent Swiss federal institution responsible for the management of the social security funds), as well as an associate in the corporate/M&A and commercial departments of other prominent Swiss business law firms.
In March 2025, Tania was appointed to the Geneva Young Bar Association Committee, where she serves as Secretary Lawyer for a two-year term.
