Encavis - Advising the German ENCAVIS Asset Management on the acquisition of the Styrian wind farm Fürstkogel, which comprises five wind turbines with a total rated output of 17.25 MW, from the wind energy specialist ECOWIND Handels- & Wartungs-GmbH. The interdisciplinary CMS team's advice ranged from legal due diligence and deal structuring to questions of real estate, environmental law and tax law.

ADX - Advising the Australian crude oil explorer in connection with the take over the major domestic Zistersdorf & Gaiselberg oilfields from Austria’s oldest exploration and production company RAG – including extensive 3D and 2D seismic and geological data. We advised the client in relation to the entire transaction – from due diligence to regulatory approvals and through to all aspects of employment, real estate and tax law.

Green Source, Core Value Capital - Advising the energy company on the acquisition, financing and development of Photovoltaic parks in Russia, with a power capacity of 135 MW. This is one of the highlight projects in the renewable energy trend in Russia with an investment volume of EUR 500 m. In addition to regulatory and corporate legal aspects, we also advised the client on debt financing and EPC contract, PV module purchase agreements, corporate, regulatory and numerous other matters.

Green Source, Core Value Capital - Advising the Austrian energy company on the acquisition, the financing and development of photovoltaic parks in Hungary, with a power capacity of 72 MW, on all legal aspects of the transaction.

SOCAR Energy Holdings JSC - Advising the subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in Switzerland, on the acquisition of 82 filling stations owned by A1 company and Pronto Oil firm in Austria. This acquisition represents the entrance of SOCAR into the retail fuel sales market in Austria. We advised the client on all legal aspects of the acquisition, including the competition law and merger control aspects of the transaction.
