Constanza is Director in the Employment & Pensions Group CMS Carey & Allende since 2016. She focuses her practice on labour lawsuits; complex terminations of employment relationships; collective bargaining with unions, labour Compliance audits and labour Due Diligence. She is a specialist in labour strategy in mergers, acquisitions and negotiations.

Additionally, Constanza heads the CMS Carey Allende Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) committee, participating as a speaker in different internal and external panels on the subject.

She previously worked in the employment practice areas of Carey & Cía and Dentons Larraín Rencoret.

Relevant experience

Banco Bice, a Chilean bank, on the harmonisation of the working conditions of new employees from the companies acquired by the bank, as well as on the elaboration of the entire variable income structure of the bank and its subsidiaries, drafting of contracts and labour documents, as well as support in the termination and hiring of personnel.
ATC Sitios de Chile on labour issues due to the incorporation of Telxius Torres Chile, including the drafting of new contracts, in order to implement benefits, under the same organisational structure.
Ausenco, a global engineering company, on labour litigation and collective bargaining.
Adecco, a temporary staffing agency, on a labour lawsuit.
Estée Lauder, a global leader in beauty products, on labour law matters, union negotiations, collective bargaining processes and labour litigation.
Transbank, a Chilean credit and debit card company, on multiple aspects of organisational restructuring, collective bargaining process, and negotiations with the company's union, in order to ensure the continuity of essential services in the event of a strike.
Besalco Construcciones, a Chilean construction company, on labour litigation, collective bargaining.
