Franco is a senior associate in the Corporate/M&A Group at CMS Carey & Allende. His practice focuses on advising domestic and international companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, with extensive experience leading due diligence processes, and negotiating and drafting transactional documentation.
He also advises companies on corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance, financing, venture capital, and the structuring and restructuring of investment vehicles.
In the context of transactional work, he has experience in competition law matters, with a particular focus on merger control, regulatory risk assessment, and compliance with competition regulations.
Prior to joining CMS, he developed his career in the corporate team of Cuatrecasas in its Santiago and Barcelona offices, where he was part of the firm’s German Desk, gaining direct experience advising companies from the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) on cross-border transactions and foreign investment in Ibero-American markets.
